About Director:

Nilesh Gupta Director
He started his career with Air force as Aeronautical Engineer. After working six years he took voluntary retirement and & went for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) to IIM Ahmedabad. Studied there for a year but the passion to join educational field kept attracted him and he dropped his studies in-between to contribute to educational field.

With strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills & the desire to explore the hidden talent of students at class VII, VIII, IX & X he joined Resonance PCCP division in 2007. Having belief in continuous innovations & to discover potential of young mind, he has not only incorporated various innovative ideas but has also implemented them. He is also considered to pioneer in bring the much needed transparency reforms in various talent search examinations conducted by various Govt. and private bodies.

Welcome to Disha Delphi Public School. It is designed to cater for children from Kindergarten to Class VIII in the very first year. The day for the pre primary classes is designed to address the physical, cognitive, vital and social needs of children. 

Playgroup – 2+ years
Nursery – 3+ years
LKG – 4+ years
HKG – 5+ years
Class I – 6+ years
Class II onwards - on the basis of previous class


Registration Period for all grades is in the months of March & April. 

A copy of birth certificate must be attached with the registration form.

Students who have attended other schools need to submit a photocopy of the report card of the one two years from the previous school duly signed by the principal. 


Students offered admission must complete the following formalities before joining.

Submission of the evidence of date of birth if not yet given.

Evidence of passing the last class or promotion to present class.

Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized school, affiliated to the All India Board or a State Board of Education. Transfer Certificates have to be signed by DEO if transferred from other states.

A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/ immunization etc. as well as mention of any particular ailment or health condition about which the school ought to know.

 Payment of Fee

Fees should be deposited quarterly in the months of April, July, October and January.

Fees must be deposited by the 10th of the relevant month of the quarter.

A late fee fine of Rs. 25 per day will be charged with effect from 11th to the last working day of the relevant month of the quarter.

If the fee is not paid by the last working day of the relevant month of the quarter the name of the student will be struck off the school rolls.

The School reserves the right to revise the fees as determined by the Schools Board of Management. The fee revision will be linked with the national cost of living index and current inflation rates which may amount to an increase of 10-12% annually or more. The School Management can increase the transport fee with the increase in fuel rates.

Admission will be valid only if the fee is paid in full by the due date along with the necessary documents and certificates as mentioned above and on completion of all formalities.

Admission to DDPS implies on the part of student and parents willingness to comply with the requirements, rules and regulations of the school.

School Rules

Students must carry their diary to school everyday. It must have their photograph and identification information complete and signed by parents.

Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days as prescribed by the school. Boys should get their hair and nails cut at regular intervals.

Girls should plait their hair if it is below their shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.

Except in case of illness, children will not be granted any leave outside vacation period. Proper medical certificate should be submitted for the leave period. 

Minimum 75% attendance is necessary for sitting in the end term examination.

Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property.

No students should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on walls, furniture or in anyway damage things that belong to others.

Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the class teacher or principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.

The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, pens, or other items) to school.

Students are not to wear any jewellery to school (e.g. Chains, rings, bangles, bracelets etc). Girls may wear only one pair of small ear rings or studs.

Students who come to school in the care of servants should never leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go alone should be prompt in returning straight home.

Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged be their conduct. Bulling and use of foul language are punishable offences.

The school reserves right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.

Books issued from library should be returned on time. In case of loss or damage to book, an appropriate fine will be imposed.

Copying or cheating during test and examination will be considered as a serious offence.

General rules

Parents must not enter the classroom to see their wards or teachers during class hours. They can only meet the teachers on PTA days or during school recess.

Parents are required to co-operate with the school in helping the children progress. They should check the bags of children for any circular, notice or invitation that may have been issued.

Parents are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address or telephone numbers.

Children when sick should not be sent to school.

For any specific medical problem, the parents must inform the school authority prior to the session.

Any communication by the parents should be addressed to the Principal.

Uniform is mandatory and a clean and neat disposition is a must for all.

Late comers are not entertained. No early departure is sanctioned except emergency.

A Student must carry identity card to the school everyday.

Cell Phone, I-Pods and any other electronic gadget are totally banned in school premises.

Students are not allowed to carry any arms with them.

Bursting of crackers, playing with colors/damaging school property/ indulging in fights with other students is liable to lead to expulsion of a student from the school.

Buying & eating from hawkers outside the school is strictly forbidden.

No books other than the text or Library books be brought to school.

Students must not indulge in any rude behavior or violence in any form.

Leave for going out of station should be approved of, prior to proceeding on leave.

In case of emergency, parents will be informed and they will have to report to the Principal. They are not allowed to go to the classes directly.

The student’s name will be struck off the rolls if he/she is absent from the School for 6 days continuously without taking valid leave.

A student who has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without a letter from the parent addressed to the class teacher, stating the reason for the absence.

Q.3 What is Primary Curriculum ?
Ans : The curriculum is learner-centered. It emphasizes the importance of literacy, numeric, and language, while at the same time responding to changing needs in science and technology, social personal and health education, and citizenship.

Q.4 How much time on an average does a student spend on physical activities?
Ans : Children spend 70 minutes each day in the Outdoors & Indoor Games. The outdoor curriculum is designed to enable children to discover new aspects of their own agility, endurance, physical strength, mental strength, stamina and team spirit. A range of sport activities are organized each day to help children connect with their inner desire to stretch, climb, run, jump, fall and strive to discover new limits and new challenges. As children grow, new skills are acquired through a specific sports curriculum that is planned keeping in focus age relevant physical capacities and potential.

Q.5 What is the pupil -teacher ratio ?
Ans : To work closely with children and to understand the needs of each child the school teacher-pupil ratio is kept as 1:15.
